Amazonite is a rare variety of feldspar most famously found in Colorado, where unique volcanic conditions are believed to contribute to its vivid coloring. While the exact cause of its blue-green hue remains a scientific mystery, it’s thought that trace amounts of lead and water in the cooling magma play a role.

Gold fill is resistant to tarnish. However, please take steps to protect your Waystone jewelry by storing it in a cool, dry place and removing it prior to bathing or swimming. For general cleaning, gently buff your jewelry with the included blue cloth.

It all started with a marriage. When our co-founder Leslie married her husband Sean, she picked up a few stones at Chief Hosa lodge to give her bridesmaids as a gift. Luckily, her mom had her own jewelry studio, and made them into something truly special.
